Mobile game advertising continued to intensify in 2025, according to a new analysis from SocialPeta and Reforged Labs. Based on data from 6 million advertisers and 1.6 billion ad creatives, the report highlights how creative output and competition are steadily increasing across the industry.
Quick Breakdown:
>> Advertisers ran an average of 123 active creatives per month in 2025, up nearly 20% year over year, with new creatives making up more than half of all ads.
>> Regional trends show the highest creative volumes in North America and parts of Asia, while Europe leads in the share of newly launched creatives.
>> By genre, 4X strategy games and RPGs produced the most creatives, while casino and arcade titles refreshed creatives the fastest.
>> Android remained the dominant platform with over 77% of ad creatives, though iOS matched Android closely in the pace of creative refreshes.
>> Video continued to lead as the primary ad format across all genres, with 15–30 second videos most commonly used. Mini-game ads remained the most clickable format.
>> More than 90% of advertisers used AI tools for creative production, supporting higher output and faster iteration.
The data suggests that continuous testing, frequent creative updates, and scalable production tools are now standard requirements for mobile game growth.
